Your home renovation starts with a free in-home consultation directly with the person who will be responsible for your renovation, not a sales rep. You will have a chance to share your ideas, discuss the project budget, and bring up any questions you may have. This is the beginning of a cooperative process that is all about bringing your renovation dreams to life. We will measure the space and take notes in order to prepare a proposal and quote.
Once we have figured out the design that is right for you, we will give you an outline of everything required for the project. This preliminary quotation will inform you how much your renovation will cost. This will include a diagram showing the layout and products to be used.
Fittings and Tiles Selection
Our proposal and recommendations takes the stress and difficulty out of choosing tiles and fittings for your renovation. You have the option of the simplicity of accepting the products we have quoted on or you can take your time choosing from a vast selection of suppliers we work with and finding the items that are right for you. We have access to items that cover a range of styles and budgets. You can visit our supplier’s showrooms or browse their catalogues. We can alter our quotation to allow for changes in tiles or fittings
Your acceptance and contract
Once you’re happy with the quotation and the design plans, we will make it official with a contract. The contract includes the quotation for all work and equipment necessary for your project. It also covers how long the job is expected to take. A 50% deposit is required at this stage.
Before we begin the actual construction we will put down coverings to protect the flooring/carpet that tradesmen will walk over to access the bathroom.
Before we can turn your old bathroom into something beautiful, we have to take down and break up what is already there. We will take out all the parts that are getting replaced and carry them off to our skip bins.
We will lay the lines for the construction and move or prepare any water pipes or electrical lines that are part of the construction area. We will also begin carpentry at this stage.
Where required our professional water-proofers will install a waterproof membrane that meets or exceeds standards. A waterproofing certificate will be issued with the finalization documentation
Plastering and Painting
Our plasterer and painters will complete any plastering and painting that is required
Next our professional tilers will lay down any new tiles then seal them with grout and caulking to ensure they stay in place.
Application of Fittings
Then it is time to install all fittings, cabinets, and fixtures to your new bathroom. Our installers will ensure that they are fitted properly and fastened securely.
Once construction is complete on your project and all parts have been installed and all debris has been removed, we will meet with you to tour your new bathroom. We will present you with a completion package that includes paperwork that guarantees all of the work is completed to your specifications
